Personal Training & Recovery Coaching

Through sessions with ARS-trained peer coaches in long-term recovery, members focus on improved health, fitness and personal growth via combined, in-depth recovery coaching and physical training. Strength building, functional movement and cardio meet mindfulness, recovery tools, goal-setting and accountability in a casual, non-clinical environment (the gym), leading to overall wellness and lasting sobriety.

Who We Are

Based in Austin and Houston, Texas with virtual sessions available by request, Active Recovery Coaching offers a lifestyle transformation to clients searching for sustained recovery and wellness. Since 2017, ARC’s original method involving recovery coaching and personal training, life skills, and nutrition has provided a well-rounded approach to healing. Equipped with personal training certification and ARC’s in-house training program, our coaches, who are in recovery themselves, create a supportive and inclusive environment where experience, strength and hope are shared between sets.

Our coaches get to know each client individually, opening up conversations and gaining an understanding of their strengths and challenges to create a customized plan focused on achieving their goals with a well-rounded approach to life and wellness. Each session, clients receive a workout as they progress in fitness, along with mentorship and companionship as they learn to navigate life in recovery.
